How to copy all open tab URLs in Chrome

Last checked 6 November 2026 on Chrome 156.

Short answer: Chrome has no Copy all URLs command, but a two-step trick works. Press Ctrl+Shift+D to bookmark all tabs in a new folder. Then open that folder in the Bookmark Manager, select everything and copy. If you do this often, an extension does it in one click.

With bookmarks, no extension

This works on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. It copies the tabs of the current window.

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+D, or Cmd+Shift+D on a Mac. Chrome saves all open tabs as bookmarks in a new folder.
  2. Give the folder a name, such as Tabs today, and save it.
  3. Open chrome://bookmarks, or press Ctrl+Shift+O (Cmd+Option+B on a Mac), and open the folder.
  4. Click one bookmark in the list.
  5. Press Ctrl+A to select all, then Ctrl+C to copy. On a Mac, use Cmd.
  6. Paste the list where you need it.

You get plain URLs, one per line, in tab order. Delete the folder afterwards if you do not want to keep it.

Keep the page titles

The copy above gives URLs only. For titles too, export your bookmarks. In the Bookmark Manager, select More at the top, then Export Bookmarks. Chrome saves an HTML file with every bookmark you have, not only the new folder, so you need to find your tabs inside it.

On a phone

On Android, Chrome can share several tabs:

  1. To the right of the address bar, tap Switch tabs.
  2. Touch and hold any tab, or tap More, then Select tabs.
  3. Choose your tabs.
  4. Tap More, then Share tabs, and choose where to share them.

On an iPhone or iPad, Chrome Helpshows Share tab for one tab at a time. Extensions do not run in Chrome on either phone. On a phone, the Chrome Web Store offers Add to Desktop instead, which installs on your computer.

With an extension

An extension makes this one click. It can also give you formats that the bookmark trick cannot, such as Markdown links or a CSV. Before you install one, check two things:

  • Permissions. It needs to read your tabs. It does not need to read the content of every page.
  • Data. Your URLs say a lot about you, so check that the list stays on your computer.

Before you share a list

Read the list first. A URL can hold more than a page address: a search term, an account number or a private share link. Remove those before you send it to someone.

FAQ

Can Chrome copy all tab URLs without an extension?

Yes, in two steps. Save all tabs as bookmarks in a new folder, then select them in the Bookmark Manager and copy. You get one URL per line.

Can I copy the tabs of all windows at once?

Not with the bookmark method, which works on one window at a time. Repeat it per window, or use an extension that covers all windows.

How do I open a list of URLs again?

Chrome has no paste box for a list, so you open the links one by one. If you kept the bookmark folder, right-click it and open all. An extension can open a pasted list for you.

Can I copy tab URLs in Chrome on an iPhone?

One at a time. Chrome Help for iPhone shows Share tab for a single tab, and it shows no step for several tabs.
